Preparing to leave

Dallin was set apart as a missionary on Monday night, the night before he left for the MTC. President Salmon gave Dallin the blessing and asked us as a family to all bear our testimonies. It was such a special night and the spirit was so strong. Dallin is so ready to serve the Lord for the next two years in El Salvador. He will be such a great missionary and great example to those around him.

As we prepared to take Dallin to the airport, it was bittersweet thinking of not seeing him for two years. As soon as we got to the airport, the tears started! Dallin told us earlier that he wasn't going to cry not because he's not sad but because he's so ready to just be in the mission field.
